Bp. Service - Polypoezis

Bp. Service is the one-man project of sound artist György Bp. Szabó, who’s also known from his works on sound sculptures and kinetic installations, that gained an international attention during the 80s, and led to various collaborations, including one with Mark Mothersbaugh from DEVO.

bitersweet, moody synthpop band, mostly active between 1983 and 1987.
heavily influenced by the German synthpop scene, and to some extent by more rock-ish gothic bands, like Sisters Of Mercy, or F. O. System.
a small selection of some gorgeous screen-printed Art Deco flyers from the 80s.
took me a century to get hold of these, but man, it was worth the time.
